Plants that prefer a slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5 - 6.0) :
Serviceberry, Chokeberry, Blue Beech, white and red oak, Sweetfern, alternate-leaved dogwood, false cypress, spruce, fern, strawberry, raspberry, Witch-Hazel, Holly, Yew, Magnolia, larch, hemlock, fir
