Rules - SOCIAL MEDIA CONTESTS

Fafard’s Contests take place on Facebook and Instagram occasionally throughout the year. All participants agree with the conditions and rules of the different contests.

ELIGIBLE ADMISSION
1. This contest is open to Fafard customers residing in Quebec or Ontario and are 18 years of age or older. Winners must consent to the possible use of their name and photograph by Fafard for publicity purposes without compensation.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2. Participants must have a Facebook or Instagram account. Participation is via the Internet:

See the contest post
Like the contest post
Comment on the post by answering the question.
Tag friends who would also like to participate (Instagram only)
Limit of one (1) entry per person for the duration of each contest

THE DRAWS
3. Draws will generally be held on the draw day specified in the publication. The duration of contests may vary from one to another. A winner is then determined at random from among all entrants according to the conditions of entry listed in publications. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries.

A Fafard representative will contact the winners within forty-eight (48) hours of the draw. The winner will then have 5 business days to respond.

If the representative does not receive a response from the winner after 5 days, he/she will send a reminder giving the winner an additional 2 days to respond. If after this reminder, the Fafard representative still has not received a response from the winner, he or she may proceed with another draw.

The winner will be contacted by private message by a Fafard representative. The procedure to follow in order to claim their prize will then be indicated. The representative will then deliver the prize to the winner within 10 business days.

PRIZES TO BE WON
4. Each contest is an opportunity for participants to win a set of gardening essentials valued at $100.

5. The odds of being a finalist in the contest depend on the number of eligible participants during the contest.

6. If for any reason beyond the control of the contest organizers, a prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, a price of similar nature and of equal or superior value will be attributed by the contest organizers.

7. The winner releases Fafard, their advertising and promotional agency, their employees, their agents and representatives from any and all liability for any accident of any nature whatsoever that could occur following the acceptance and use of their prize.

8. By entering this contest, each finalist authorizes the organizers and their representatives to use, if needed, their name, photograph, image, voice and/or statement related to their prize for publicity or media purposes without any form of compensation.

9. The person whose name appears on the customer card is the person entering this contest for the prize offered.

10. This promotion is not run or sponsored by Facebook or Instagram. Information shared will be provided to Fafard and not to Facebook or Instagram.

This contest is subject to the laws of Quebec and Ontario.
